I had a very rough internet hiccup earlier today that made it impossible to work:
So I did what any reasonable person would do; I contacted Charter and asked them what was up. They told me my modem was flipping out and scheduled a service call to fix it tomorrow. During that call, I asked them what was up with the upgrade they are supposed to be rolling out to all standard customers to bump downstream to 60mbps.
I was told that they had done it just now and all I needed to do was restart the modem (ha). My connection was still broken.
So just a bit ago, everything magically healed itself when the internet helper gnomes fixed my connection somehow. (I’m still going to have them replace the modem tomorrow.) I did a quick live chat with them to make sure I should keep the service appointment—they said yes—and then asked this:
If you don’t tell, I won’t tell.
