Disturbingly Cannibalistic Chicken

This illustration was on a poster stapled to a bulletin board at church.

Winner, winner, chicken… uh… dinner?

Honestly, I’m not sure what aspect of this is most bizarre.

I'm a career support professional and team leader with over two decades of experience. I believe in leading and coaching teams of humans through active listening and empathy. I also work to broaden the understanding of these concepts, as well as of the importance of remote work, a culture of graceful mistakes, and diversity of thought in everyday work environments.

When we were at the Las Vegas Zoo, the chickens that roam freely there had no problem with eating the raw chicken breast that had been set aside by the trainers when they were trying to lure the lion into a pose for a camera.

That’s how I felt every time I’ve dipped raw chicken pieces into an egg wash before flouring and frying it.
